Last Day At MYRA

Today was my last day at MYRA. I was at MYRA for almost three years and I have learnt a lot in those three years. While at MYRA I filled many roles, including

  • Web technical analyst
  • Web developer
  • Technical analyst
  • Project Manager

I had the pleasure of working with so many great people at MYRA, and I learnt a great deal about the IT Industry, service delivery and business. I will miss the people at MYRA, they are the ones who make it such a great place to work.

What’s next?

I will be starting a new job as a project analyst at Island Health (formally Vancouver Island Health Authority or VIHA). The Island Health opportunity looked like a great way to further my skills as a project manager working on large projects in a PMO. The PMO will have a staff of 50 peope and will show me a side of project management I have not yet been exposed to.

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish

Working at MYRA has been incredible, an experience that I will remember for the rest of my professional career. I am looking forward to a new set of challenges working for a new employer, for those who I have met at MYRA, keep in touch.

For the non-geeks, So Long, and Thanks fo All the Fish is a reference to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe.
